Health: Revive Health and FitOn Health join forces to create an AI-powered health platform

United States — Revive Health and FitOn Health announced on Monday their combination to create an artificial intelligence-powered health platform that blends everyday health engagement with connected clinical care, aiming to get employees to use their health benefits more and improve their outcomes.

The combined company serves more than 25 million members and supports more than 4,000 employers and health plan customers, making it one of the largest digital health platforms focused on prevention and connected care, according to the announcement released on Monday.

FitOn Health, founded by Lindsay Cook, a former Fitbit executive, and Russell Cook, the founder of AllTrails, is a fitness and preventive health platform with more than 20 million members, more than one billion workout minutes logged and more than 500,000 five-star reviews.

The new platform brings together fitness, nutrition, sleep, stress management, preventive care, mental health, primary and urgent care, pharmacy, weight management and care navigation in a single experience.

Every interaction, from a workout or a meditation to a prescription refill or a preventive appointment, will be powered by Ask Revive AI, an intelligent companion that helps members schedule appointments, answer health questions and receive increasingly personalized recommendations.

“Healthcare doesn't just have a care problem. It has a connection-to-care problem,” said John Lufburrow, CEO of Revive. “If employees don't use the benefits, nobody wins,” he added, presenting the platform as a reason to engage with one's health every day.

FitOn Health will remain available as a standalone benefit and as part of the Revive platform, with no disruptions for its current members, according to the announcement.
